The outside of the car, in whole, is designed to provide a very good compromise between traffic congestion and urban escapades through in-kind. But let’s see what is found inside, a chapter that should provide a high level of comfort.

I noticed the “padded” inside with leather. It was appreciated the seat heating system, very useful especially in this time of year. Until the engine has warmed enough to “make” heat, the heated seats were “busy” for our comfort. The price for this option, it is 391.84 euro.
In terms of dynamic the car offers an “honest” behavior. Do not send a sporty feeling; or rather not cause you to seriously violate the accelerator pedal. Rather, Audi Q3 sends you a docile state, calm, inviting you on long trips. Once you have started the 2.0-liter diesel engine that generates 177 horsepower, do not want to stop it, but you want to go on even if you arrive at your destination.
With the 177 hp and 380 Nm of torque, the car has sufficient resources so that when the throttle is stepped to give you full satisfaction. With S-tronic automatic gearbox with seven reports of fuel consumption is very low, if we think that we are on board a four-wheel drive SUV. Outside the city we managed to achieve an average consumption of 6.6 litres/100 km, but while the speed limit was not exceeded. Clearly, in the city, consumption is slightly higher, depending on how hard you have the leg.

An average urban consumption would be 9.5-10 liters/100 km, which is more than acceptable for a car of this category. In conclusion, we could say that Audi Q3 SUV is a very good compromise for someone who wants a comfortable SUV, economic and efficient urban congestion.
Audi, Q3 November 15th 2011
Audi prepares the Q4 SUV for covering the segment that it will take Range Rover Evoque.

Audi will double the number of SUVs in their offer, which now includes the recently released Q3, Q5 and Q7 addition, adding three new models by 2016, according to company sources, quoted by Autocar magazine. The three new models will be called Q2, Q4 and Q6, and according to the source will allow the manufacturer from Ingolstadt by their offer to cover every niche from the SUV segment.
The first offer is Q4, which will be a sports version of the existence of Q5 produced with the specific task to compete against Range Rover Evoque, but also a cheaper version of that upcoming Porsche Cajun offer. Audi Q4 is expected to make its appearance in 2014 or 2015.
The SUV will be based on existing modular longitudinal MLB architecture, which translates as “Modularen LangsBau” already on the Audi Q5, which will stay and based on Porsche Cajun. And if they share the same architecture, it is expected that the dimensions coincide as well. The new Q4 will be as Q5, 650 mm, 1880 mm wide with a wheelbase of 2810 mm, although it will have a different roof line, which will take air sports and will be down to the ground at a height of 1,600 mm.
Q3 SUVs assembly will be in Martorell, Spain.

The first version of the Audi Q3 SUV came off the assembly line yesterday at the SEAT Martorell factory, located in the region of Catalonia in Spain. Built in 1993, the factory in Martorell has currently more than 10,000 workers. This is the first time when the car maker from Ingolstadt uses the SEAT factory.
To build Q3, VW Group has invested around €330 million in infrastructure and upgrades for the production facilities. Audi says that around 100,000 units of Q3′s are scheduled to leave the assembly line each year. The smallest member of crossovers and SUVs from the Audi Q series uses VW Tiguan platform. Currently, Q3 has three different engines with four cylinders: a 2.0-liter turbo diesel with 177 bhp and two petrol engines of 2.0 liter turbo, one with 170 hp andone with 211 hp.
In the future, there will be other engines: a 2.0 TDI engine with 140 horsepower and smaller gasoline engines.
